Moving Day(s)

Don't worry everyone! We haven't forgotten about you! We also haven't left on our amazing adventure yet, so we don't have much to say at this point. But we'll give you a quick update on our super interesting lives anyway.

Our empty apartment

On Wednesday, we made our second trip to Michigan with all of our stuff. It's amazing how moving makes you realize that you have WAY TOO MUCH STUFF. We sold a few things and left our bed at a friends house, but we still managed to fill a 12' moving truck as well as having 3 carloads of junk.

Exploring Wrigleyville on one of our trips through Chicago

We're keeping all of our things at my parent's house who also recently took in my brother and his wife on their quest for a boat or a condo to flip or something else to live in for a while (it's impossible to keep up with what their plans are since they basically change every day). You can see that adventuring runs in the family. So moral of the story is, we had an interesting time finding a place for all of our stuff in my parent's packed house. We've essentially set up a new apartment in the basement and my parents are ready to rent out the house for about 8 people on Airbnb (not really, but we're certainly equipped for it).

We've had some time to spend with friends in town and family on Easter which has been enjoyable. I think we're adjusting pretty well to unemployment. Though to me, it doesn't feel like we've had much of a break yet with our busy moving schedule. But sleeping in is definitely a bonus.

We're going to spend about a week in Michigan then head down to Cincinnati to visit with Will's family for a couple weeks. Then we'll have a little less than a week before we fly out to Europe. It's coming up quickly!
